The brilliant + beautiful graphic artist, Wharty designed this new header you see on my blog! She in fact made it as a thank you card to Newton. Newton Running, based out of Colorado, were hands down my sweetest sponsor of 2012. If I haven’t made that soooo obvious, this is the post to do so. They are beautiful people who create rad products and are all remarkable athletes. They get sport, they get sweating, they get dream crushing. It was an honor to sport my Newton’s this year. #mahalo

Beyond my sweet sponsors, I have a few loyalties that deserve more-than-honorable mention. And by loyalties, I mean, I’m bow to these folks. They are best in class, they deliver awesomeness every single time and I’m insanely blessed to have them in my circle of life/sport. When I think 2013, I think these guys, big time!

Speed Theory – located in Kits, for roadies and tri geeks and most importantly – for chics! Doug Giles, Erin Lee and the crew consistently, without question, have given my bikes the best treatment. From ordering custom bar tape for me, new speed suits, race wheels, the list goes on….and my rides have never ever let me down. Kits Cookies – OH! MY! WORD! MikeyN delivered TWO batches of these delicious nuggets for my birthday and words do not do justice. Just go buy some – they are made with love and aloha, in Vancouver. And I’m pretty certain they will become my new bike calories/life calories of choice. Gluten free and awesome filled. I just can’t say enough delicious things about ‘em.

Body Healer/ German Godess…her name is Hedi and she runs the House of Healing. She is often galavanting around the globe, yet when she lands in YVR, I’m at her door step awaiting her hands.

Massage Therapist (in my living room!)…Lesley White. Hands down, no pun intended, she knows how to rock your fascia AND she can come to you for treatment.

My healer of all healers – happiness poker – pain remover – you name it, she’s got you covered…Andrea Lamont. I have come to appreciate that acupuncture is kinda my secret sauce. And when people ask me for a chiro/physio/etc recommendation, I say – ACCU Andrea is mo’bettah!

Lastly, self love isn’t complete without a facial. I’ve heard that the rain is fallin’ in the YVR and other than winter training, that means home made chai, late knitting nights, cozy massages and hydrating facials, are next on my to do list. Colette is my absolute favorite facial in the city – she is beautiful and natural and radiates awesome. (J-Spa is a very close second!)

I must tell you that when I was in my “destroyed” state, I spent many days horizontal in the hammock. During these days of dreaming/scheming/reflecting, I began creating a list of dream sponsors and partners for 2013. Without telling too many secrets yet, it has been an abundant 2weeks. Once all is confirmed, I will need to figure out a way to ensure year long gratitude is flowin’… MahaloMahaloMahalo!
