Danielle LaPorte posed the question: if you could revolutionize anything in this lifetime, what would it be? The responses had me at the edge of my chair – people want CHANGE! We all crave to revolutionize somethin’, eh!

The other day after another one of those morning bike rides, as I was drying my hair (in an attempt to warm up), i thought to myself, I wish I never plugged in another hair dryer in this lifetime. Because my natural lil kinks and waves and so-not-perfect locks are way greater than my quest for my hair to look any differently…

And then i thought about DLP’s question…I’d revolutionize…

+ 4 day work weeks – long weekends wouldn’t be soooo sought after, they’d be the norm!

+ more bikes than cars – they just aren’t necessary; simple is fast and bikes burn calories! Imagine an end to parking tickets, or more importantly…friggen tow trucks!

+ work that is full of meaning so doing meaningful work wouldn’t need to a topic in the workplace – really, choice would be the topic of conversation.

+ pay for performance – gov’ts included. It’s simply the fiscally responsible thing to do, yah?

+ gratitude and blessings over complaints and criticisms. What happened to saying grace before dinner and holding the door open?

+ canned food, obviously, just needs to go.

+ men + women to feel powerful in doing work that matters most to them – without this gender bias crap. I will happily declare that I dream of being a woman of the kitchen, the board room + a surf board, unapologetically!

Really, i dream of a world where everyone could declare their dreams, unapologetically, and their neighbour would be there to give them a hand up or a high five…..it would be the 21st century version of borrowing a cup of sugar.

And imagine we made mo’pies from scratch….and delivered them to friends. This is Nana’s recipe and I’m sure she’d approve that pies are being baked in plastic heart shapes:)

I dream of a world where we feel our happiest version of ourselves…and it remains only our own responsibility! xo
